NSA provides programs for sheriffs, their deputies, chiefs of police, and other criminal justice professionals to perform their jobs in the best possible manner and to better promote homeland security and public safety in their jurisdiction.
Legislation
Since its founding in 1940, the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) has been the one voice of the nation’s sheriffs in Washington, DC. As one of the largest US law enforcement organizations, NSA is a leading advocate on law enforcement criminal justice, and public safety issues.
Conferences
The National Sheriffsā Association hosts two signature conferences each year: the Winter Conference, held annually in Washington, D.C., and the Annual Conference, hosted in a different city each year.
